Refurbished stained glass into a double-glazed unit is a great way to preserve its beauty while improving energy efficiency, sound insulation, and weatherproofing. It is done by cleaning, removing any dirt and debris carefully. Replacing any cracked or broken pieces of glass, re-solder joints, or re-lead the panel if necessary. The stained glass is then sandwiched between two panes of clear glass. The double-glazed unit is then installed into the window.
